UNISET Announces Prominent Project Awards

• UNISET has been awarded the design and fabrication of set elements in new television studios located at Lee University, Cleveland, TN new 40,000 SF, $10MDepartment of Communication Arts Building and at Frostburg State’s, Frostburg, MD new 127,000 SF, $30+M Center for Communication and Information Technology Building. “UNISET has a large presence in the college/university marketplace throughout the US and these two awards continue to endorse the high quality, cost-effective set elements UNISET offers,” said Brian McKinnon, Co-Owner (2013-2017) of UNISET. “UNISET continues to evolve its product offerings to appeal to a broad range of end users while maintaining superior programming and production value”

• UNISET was recently selected to provide studio set elements in support of the British Governments Exchequer’s (Head of Treasury) presentation on tax reformsopening up the United Kingdom for global investment. Coordinating production with the media communications organization of a global leader in financial markets, the UNISET Wall Column and News/Interview Desk Systems allowed a 7th-floor office conference room to be transformed into a professional studio environment. The fully manufactured wall and desk modules were taken from the 1st-floor loading dock to the 7th floor via elevator where they were set (assembled) in 45 minutes. Following production, the set was struck (disassembled) in less than 30 minutes allowing for the room to be used for a luncheon hosted by the Exchequer.

• WSIL-TV3 the ABC affiliate in Carterville, Illinois, and Southern Illinois’s news leader has selected the UNISET UNI-CYC cyclorama for its new Weather Center. Wanting a full hard cyclorama that is freestanding and pre-finished, WSIL selected UNISET. The UNI-CYC provides WSIL-TV 3 with the virtual environment it needs to achieve superior production quality and programming content for its daily news audience.

• Complex Media, a nationally recognized platform for multi-media, selected the UNISET UNI-CYC cyclorama to outfit its virtual environment studios in New York City, NY and West Hollywood, CA. Looking for a freestanding pre-finished full cyclorama with modular capability, Complex Media turned to UNISET to outfit these coast to coast studio needs. Lighting and keying out impeccably, the UNI-CYC cyclorama provides Complex Media with the full cyc environment to utilize with its state of the art technology infrastructure.

• UNISET has been awarded the contract to build and install the new studio set elements for TC3. This new state of the art studio at one of New York States leading community colleges and schools of communication will include a full spread of UNISET set components. Wanting modularity, pre-finished and free-standing set pieces that enable multiple show/program identities for both teaching and production environments, TC3 turned to UNISET to achieve these objectives. Coupled with TC3’s investment in technology infrastructure, the UNISET studio delivers superior production value and quality.

• Ben Modo, Principal, and Host of Ben Modo Live selected UNISET to design and build its new NYC Studio Set. Ben Modo Live is an American talk show airing in both English and French that covers a wide range of news topics including politics, business, entertainment, sports, and religion. UNISET will design, build and install a new set/background system with the full package of graphics, lighting, and accessories as well as a matching custom news/interview desk.

The UNISET Company design and build team has been awarded new studios at San Antonio Community College in San Antonio Texas, The City of Riverside in Riverside, California, Jamestown Community College in Jamestown New York and the photographic infinity wall systems for fashion photography at Barney’s New York, Midtown Manhattan. San Antonio College is a custom design/build television and video production studio for broadcast programming and educational experiences. Both the City of Riverside and Jamestown Community College are the revolutionary UNI-PRO Studio System, the “four sets in one contiguous background system”. Barney’s New York has commissioned UNISET to design and build five (5) matching infinity wall/platform systems for high fashion still photography.

The Minnesota Vikings begin their 2016 season in their new football stadium. The Vikings Network will be utilizing two new UNI-PRO desk systems and Mobile Carry Case manufactured by UNISET for game day broadcasts throughout the stadium and on-field events. A third UNI-PRO desk will be part of the Buffalo Wild Wings sponsored game day show. The versatile, mobile and high-quality desk system was exactly what the Vikings were looking for to achieve an all of their broadcasting needs.
